Yes, you read that right. Mantiques. Antiques that appeal to even the manliest of men. Think: Chesterfield sofas, massive desks with history and pedigree, antlers and of course a wingback chair.
805 Living, a high-end lifestyle magazine covering L.A., Santa Barbara and Ventura counties, dedicated an entire issue to men. In the issue, they showcased their choices for antiques with a masculine appeal. Bulldog bookends made the cut as did a terrific x-form bench upholstered in grey plaid fabric. Just fabulous.
But we did spy Pearson's 249 Wing Chair in 4584-92 Union Jack fabric. Doesn't get much more handsome than that, does it? For me, it's the nailhead detail and the angular lines on this chair that give it a manly edge. Fit for a king, don't you think?
