Wish You Were Here...

One of the reasons I took on the challenge of blogging for Pearson was my fascination with their creative director's amazing role with the company. She travels the world in search of talented artisans, inspiring patterns and skilled craftsmen. Jennifer McConnell is, by all accounts, at least one step ahead of domestic trends because she is indeed a professional coolfinder.

What does this mean for you and I? Through an ongoing series of interviews, posts and virtual adventures you and I will discover what it's like to see the world through her eyes. What did she do in Istanbul? Where did she stay? What did it smell like? How was the coffee - and did you bring any home for us? What about the Philippines? Tell me all about the cuisine, the marvelous sights and anything you brought back.

This is an opportunity for me to indulge in my deep passion for interiors, luxury goods and world travel all at once. How blessed am I? Best of all, it is a gift I am honored to be able to share with all of you. Through her stories we will circumnavigate the globe and learn about art and design around the world.
